for Composers and Songwriters
This 8 session interactive video course delves into creativity; its sources and definitions, it’s relation to the composer, it’s challenges and obstacles (such as writers block), and how to work beyond them.
Each session includes an online (email or zoom) personal discussion with me, your instructor and coach. We will schedule those according to what is available that works best for you.
We will discuss and come to understand the creativity in you, and find tools by which to enhance the quality, professionality and efficiency of your work.
It features findings by psychologists on what creativity is and what makes up a creative person, and Composer's discussions and tips in regard to musical creativity and composition.
This Course has an Assignment:
Begin a new song or composition, or one that you are working on, and use it as your work assignment piece for this course on creativity, then apply what you learn as this course progresses.
